Community Task Force Project

Gender Based Violence Community Task Forces for Outreach and Education is a transformative initiative led by the Jahjaga Foundation, supported by UN Women and the British Embassy in Pristina. Launched in 2024, this project aims to challenge and reduce deep-rooted stereotypes and stigmas associated with gender-based violence through educational campaigns and community engagement.

    • Establishing Community Task Forces in Pristina, Dragash, Gjakova, and Gjilan to mobilize local support and foster open

    • Providing training to Task Force members on communication, human rights, and effective community outreach to ensure impactful advocacy.
  • Peer-to-Peer Education Program

    • Training high school students as peer educators to lead discussions and awareness campaigns among their peers, fostering a youth-driven approach to combating gender-based violence.
